Violin Oslo – Guarneri Model
Description
Named after the northern capital of Norway, *Oslo* evokes a quiet strength and natural clarity, much like the crisp air and gentle light of Scandinavian landscapes. This violin was created with the same balance of warmth and precision that defines the Nordic spirit.
Handmade in Udine by Luca Zerilli, the *Oslo* follows the Guarneri model. The top is carved from fine Italian red spruce with a straight, consistent grain. The two-piece back is European maple with a tight, deep flame that gives the instrument an elegant structure.
The varnish is a warm brown, aged by hand to give a gently worn character.
Acoustic character:
The sound of *Oslo* is focused and deep, with a slightly darker voice. The G and D strings resonate with a mellow, woody tone, while the A and E strings carry a smooth brightness. It’s an ideal choice for players seeking intimacy, depth, and flexibility across the full range.
A distinctive violin crafted entirely in the workshop of Luca Zerilli.
