Violin Parigi – Guadagnini Model
Description
The *Parigi* violin is named after the city where elegance meets rebellion, where tradition blends with the avant-garde. Like its namesake, this instrument combines refinement and vitality, drawing inspiration from the rich artistic and musical heritage of Paris.
Made entirely by Luca Zerilli in his workshop in Udine, *Parigi* is built on the Guadagnini model. The top is made of Italian red spruce of excellent quality, with a straight and regular grain. The one-piece back is crafted from deeply flamed European maple, its narrow figure offering a bold and unified aesthetic.
The varnish is a hand-applied antique brown, designed to complement the wood’s natural textures and give the instrument a distinguished, timeless look.
Acoustic character:
*Parigi* offers a bold yet polished sound, with a quick response and great clarity. Its low end is articulate and full-bodied, while the upper register projects effortlessly, making it a versatile instrument suitable for solo and ensemble work.
Entirely handcrafted in Udine by Luca Zerilli, *Parigi* is an invitation to explore expression with elegance and intensity.
